Year for 2011.
The July 7, 2011 offense brought a chase of a deadly killing and "road rage" shooting spree suspect to an end.
The murder suspect accused of killing seven people including two children began a high speed chase, continued to shoot at officers that were chasing him and other civilians.
The STOP STICKS were deployed by Officer Mike Wordelman disabling the vehicle.
From the highway the suspect was able to make his way toward a nearby home and took them hostage. For five hours the suspect continued to fire outside and inside the home. The officers finally entered the home and the suspect ended up taking his own life.
